McGregor handed himself into the NYPD this morning after causing a riot and attacking a bus at the Barclay Centre in Brooklyn.
He has been in court and had his bail set at £35,000 ($ 50,000).
He will learn his fate for the charges on June 14.
McGregor stormed Thursday’s UFC event and was caught on camera throwing objects at a bus carrying Khabib Nurmagomedov – the headliner of the event this coming weekend.
Conor McGregor’s actions have caused at least one fight for the weekend to be cancelled after Michael Chiesa was cut by the broken glass.
He has been told to stay away from the venue for UFC 223 and faces a potential ban from competition.

The NYPD then released a warrant for the Irishmen’s arrest before he handed himself in on Thursday night.
A UFC statement said a vehicle that contained a number of athletes competing at the event taking place this weekend had been “vandalised”.
It read: “During today’s media event at Barclays Center to promote UFC 223: Khabib vs. Holloway, Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov entered the building accompanied by over a dozen individuals

“The group, which included McGregor and Lobov, vandalized the vehicle that contained a number of athletes competing at the event taking place this weekend.
“NYPD was immediately alerted and is currently in the process of investigating the situation.
“UFC is working very closely with the New York Athletic Commission, Barclays Center security and law enforcement authorities.
“All parties are working together to ensure the highest standard of proper safety precautions are implemented to protect the fans and athletes.

“The organization deems today’s disruption completely unacceptable and is currently working on the consequences that will follow.
“Immediately, Lobov has been removed from this weekend’s card and individuals involved in the incident are not welcome at tomorrow’s ceremonial weigh-in or Saturday’s event at Barclays Center.”
The trouble erupted at a UFC media day after McGregor, 29, had been stripped of his UFC lightweight title.
He has not fought in the UFC for more than a year but lost to former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather in a money-spinning bout last August.
McGregor has been a flamboyant presence on the sporting scene and divided opinion in Ireland.
An NYPD spokesman confirmed the Irishman was in police custody.
Conor McGregor will face charges from the NYPD later today
He added: “No formal charges have been filed yet but they will be filed after 7 o’clock (12 pm BST).”
The incident happened at the Barclays Centre in the Brooklyn borough of New York City.
People had gathered to promote a competition headlined by Khabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway.
The UFC added: “NYPD was immediately alerted and is currently in the process of investigating the situation.
“UFC is working very closely with the New York Athletic Commission, Barclays Centre security and law enforcement authorities.

“All parties are working together to ensure the highest standard of proper safety precautions are implemented to protect the fans and athletes.”
And UFC president Dana White condemned the actions.
He said: ”[This is] criminal, disgusting, disposable, makes me sick and we as an organisation need to make sure this never happens again.
“They (the police) are looking for him. His plane cannot take off, he cannot leave the state of New York.
“I assume eventually, if they don’t catch him, he’ll turn himself in.
“You can imagine he’ll be sued beyond belief. This was a real bad career move for him.”
Dana White was talking ahead of UFC 223
While Khabib challenged McGregor to front up to him.
“I am laughing inside,” Nurmagomedov told MMA Fighting.
“You broke window? Why? Come inside. You know UFC don’t let you come inside. If you real gangster why don’t you come inside?
“This is big history gangster place. Brooklyn. You want to talk to me? Send me location. We have to talk? I am gonna come, no problem.
“I grew up like this. I don’t grow up throwing chairs at window. This is not my bus.”
