The 59-year-old radio host has previously gushed about her time on Strictly Come Dancing but no doubt surprised fans following last night’s instalment of spin-off It Takes Two.
“I thought @Faye_Tozer looked gorgeous on It Takes Two tonight with @ZoeTheBall who always makes me laugh SO much,” she told her 40,000 followers. “@pernicegiovann1 didn’t look bad either ha ha ha ha.”
One fan then got in touch to quiz the star, asking: “Do you miss Strictly now you’re not a contestant? You were fab last year.”
“Not missing it as I’m so busy,” Debbie McGee replied. “But loving watching this series.”
Another Strictly fan took to the comments section to share their praise for Debbie and Giovanni, 28, writing: “Just saying, Debbie and Giovanni were the most amazing couple ever on Strictly.
“Others may come and go but there will never be that incredible magical chemistry again. It’s a once in a lifetime experience.”
Others agreed with Debbie, with one sharing their enthusiasm for Faye and Giovanni’s partnership, saying: “Looking forward to their dance on Saturday.”
“Hot hot hot,” another chipped in, while a third added: “We’re watching it now and WOW, Faye does look gorgeous.”
Last year, Debbie took Italian heartthrob Giovanni all the way to the final, but they missed out on the glitterball trophy when Joe McFadden, 43, and his partner Katya Jones, 29, were crowned champions.
Professional dancer Giovanni was joined by Debbie’s successor, Steps star Faye, 42, on It Takes Two last night when they sat down with presenter Zoe Ball, 47, to chat about Saturday night’s Foxtrot.
Oozing glamour, the blonde beauty wore a figure-hugging white sleeveless dress, which boasted metal stud detailing on the bodice and neckline.
Her golden tresses were swept back into a chic low bun at the nape of her neck and she sported a polished, dewy make-up look as she took her place on the It Takes Two sofa.
Giovanni also put on a dapper display, dressed in a smart grey suit and crisp white shirt, which he wore with several buttons undone to flash a glimpse of his torso.
“It was lovely. It was lovely to be whisked round the dance floor again,” Faye gushed, as she opened up about last weekend’s Strictly.
The duo scored an impressive 33 points for their Foxtrot, but failed to top the leaderboard as her competitors kept the standard high for yet another week.
Only four marks separately the top five couples, with Faye saying: “The standard is so high. It’s really exciting.
“I think we need to have more energy and I think I need to have more confidence, maybe.”
This weekend, Faye and Giovanni will tackle the Couples’ Choice category, choosing a musical theatre-style routine with nods to legendary choreographer Bob Fosse.
Giovanni’s former partner Debbie has previously spoken out to praise the pair, telling The Telegraph’s Talking Strictly podcast: “I really want them to do well.
“I just wanted her to do her best because I had such a great time and I’ve made such a great friend in Giovanni.”
