Transfer news LIVE: Chelsea receive Hazard order, Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal latest

Chelsea have been told what they must do in order to keep hold of Real Madrid target Eden Hazard by former midfielder Michael Ballack.
“You have to pay him a lot of money!” Ballack explained, when asked by Goal how Chelsea can stave off interest in the winger.
“But more importantly, you have to give him a vision. You have to tell him how important he is, ask him what he wants from the club and to give him a little bit more responsibility.
“You need to find out what he wants as well, ask him if he’s happy. Of course, you want to win something and be as successful as possible as an individual player.
“It is normal to look around and think, ‘With what club can I achieve that with?’ Everyone who loves Chelsea wants Hazard to stay. Chelsea is an ambitious club and it will always be possible that a coach and the players are competitive at the highest level.
“Only he can give the answer of what he wants for himself, his ambitions for the club and give signs. I always said he is an incredible player. From my perspective, he should have even more responsibility and even more impact on the team, not just to enjoy individual freedom which he likes.
“Players sometimes don’t want to have this heavy weight on their shoulders to carry the team or to get asked in certain situations to have that responsibility.
“I think he is the player who should do that in that team. If you understand how important it is for yourself and for your game and you can handle it, then it will transfer to the team and you will take the next step.”

Manchester United ace Fred has revealed the role Jose Mourinho played in luring him to Old Trafford.
“That’s true, I received an offer from them [Manchester City] and even talked to my Brazilian team-mates who play for our neighbours,” Fred told FourFourTwo.
“They were trying to convince me to join them, but in the end it didn’t happen. Then it was the summer and, as I said, there were other offers, including from United. I quickly decided that was the right move for me.
“Mourinho is a top, top professional and every player likes to work with such a winner. I’m learning things from him, that’s for sure.
“He can be quite strict, but that’s part of his job. He’s also friendly and funny off the pitch, and jokes with us in the dressing room. Jose was crucial in my decision to join Manchester United and I’m grateful for his interest in my football.”

Nabil Fekir is reportedly expecting to leave Lyon next summer – 12 months on from almost joining Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp made Fekir a priority target at the end of last season, only for the playmaker’s history of knee problems to prove an obstacle and a deal to be scrapped.
French outlet L’Equipe report Fekir believes he will call time on his Lyon career when the current campaign comes to a close though.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will reignite their interest in the France international, with Chelsea and Bayern Munich said to be in the hunt for his signature.

Former Arsenal striker Paul Mariner has sung the praises of Gunners summer signings Lucas Torreira.
“Depends who drops out of the Champions League,” Mariner said on ESPN FC, when asked if Arsenal can win the Europa League to secure a return to the Champions League.
“I was waiting for the Liverpool game [to judge Arsenal’s improvement], I wanted to see what they brought to the table.
“I must admit Torreira – the holding midfield player – has almost as a single guy transformed this team.
“He’s pushed Granit Xhaka further up the park a little bit where he’s a bit better, the protection for the back four is good.
“Can they win the Europa League? It’s a big ask but at the present moment in time, no I don’t think they can.”

The MEN say that Jose Mourinho has two Manchester United transfer demands.
He wanted five signings in the summer. He got just three.
And he reportedly still wants a defender and forward signed when the transfer window reopens in January.
United usually choose to conduct their business in the summer.
Mourinho himself is a firm believer that players who join midway through a campaign can encounter issues. Alexis Sanchez at United, Juan Cuadrado at Chelsea and Emmanuel Adebayor at Real Madrid prove that.
But that could be set to change.
Transfer news LIVE: Arsenal and Real Madrid have eyes on Miguel Hermoso
Real Madrid could see their plan to re-sign Miguel Hermoso from Espanyol destroyed by Arsenal, reports in Spain claim.
Real are on the lookout for potential targets with the January transfer window approaching fast.
And Hermoso is apparently in their sights having impressed for second-place Espanyol this season.
Marca say Arsenal are tracking the centre-back too though, with Unai Emery one of his admirers.
