Prison visits aren’t
‘ kind of thing.
Real Housewives of Atlanta
star’s estranged husband
is currently serving an eight-year sentence for
bank fraud and identity theft
in Lexington, Kentucky, but Parks made it clear that she won’t be frequenting the prison alone.
“It’s a huge undertaking and I have many jobs,” she says. “Outside of being a lawyer full time everyday, I am a funeral director mortician so that’s my weekend gig.”
But that’s only a part of her busy life. The reality star adds she is quite the activist.
“When I do have a spare moment I am trying to help other people and I have foundation and so it’s a lot,” she said. “And I have two beautiful children that need me as well so it’s a lot of juggling.”
Parks has taken her two sons that she shares with Nida to visit him behind bars, but she said it’s doubtful she will make the trip alone.
“He’s sort of low on the totem pole,” she says.
On the day Nida was due to turn himself into jail, he skipped the deadline and instead showed up at Parks home in Atlanta where he picked a massive fight with her.
“Apollo threatened to do all kinds of horrific things, and I was scared for our safety,” said Parks, who was having all of the locks on her house re-keyed when Nida showed up.
Parks added: “I’ve got to make sure I’m safe.”
